The client lives in a listed cottage but wanted to inject a modern, fresh look to the kitchen. The designer proposed removing a wall and open the kitchen into the conservatory to enhance the sense of space. Glossy Remo Alabaster was chosen for the cabinetry with a contrasting oak veneer open shelf unit to break up the runs. The storage in the kitchen has been vastly improved with Le Mans corner systems as well as a tandem larder.
Curved base units soften the lines and add a smoother feel to the design. Other design touches that add individuality to the scheme include the feature curved upstand around the sink and the open glass shelves.
