The Brief

The clients wanted their new kitchen space to be light and modern and chose pale furniture and flooring. Essentials to the new design were an American-style fridge-freezer, a wine cooler and hot water tap. A dividing wall was removed to create an open plan design, which incorporates a kitchen, dining area and study.  As the clients had completely renovated their property they had to work within a tight budget so the affordable Milbourne Shaker design achieved exactly the look they wanted

Designer's Tips

The breakfast bar is a great place for informal snacks and drinks. The gently rounded cabinet at the end of the peninsula creates a safe and streamlined finish to the breakfast bar. To link the zones together the furniture in the study is created from the Milbourne range. Bold accent wallpaper and the quirky oversized cutlery on injects character to the dining area.
