The clients wanted a very practical kitchen that visually wouldn’t date. They chose the Broadoak Shaker range in a timeless mix of natural oak and painted alabaster. The worktops complement the alabaster cabinetry and co-ordinate with the high-backed chairs. As there wasn’t room for a separate table and chairs the designer created drop-down seating behind the island, which is the perfect place for socialising.
The clients opted for large statement appliances so the designer created a layout that maximised the space available to ensure the range cooker and fridge/freezer didn’t overpower the room. This was achieved without compromising on storage, with the tambour units creating plenty of space to ensure the worktops aren’t cluttered.
