The customers visited our Warrington showroom looking for a modern handleless style kitchen, which would fit in well with their open plan living area, created with an extension a couple of years earlier. They settled on the ‘Remo’ style in ‘Cashmere Gloss’ as they felt the warmer colour of the Cashmere would suit the overall feel of the space.
For the design, they knew they wanted a tall bank of units along one wall, to house mainly appliances, and a peninsular area to separate the kitchen from the dining space. We decided that the peninsular would be a good place for the hob as it keeps that area social rather than being tucked away at the other end of the room.
The rest of the design was concentrated on making storage practical- we installed two Kesseboehmer LeMans corner solutions, deep pan drawers and bi-fold doors on the wall units. for ease of access over the peninsular.
The result is a kitchen that blends perfectly with the rest of the living space, with the wooden floor linking each space together and the ‘Hail Storm’ quartz complementing the cabinets beautifully.
Instead of thinking an American style fridge/freezer will offer maximum capacity, consider a tall integrated fridge and a tall integrated freezer. The capacity and practicality is off the scale.
