The clients’ previous kitchen was old and tired, lacking both storage and an ergonomic layout. The key elements of the brief were to create a more open space, maximize storage and have a design that not only had contemporary appeal but was also easier to keep clean. The handleless Remo Cashmere perfectly suits the new space, which involved removing a wall to combine the kitchen and utility area in one room.
The peninsular breakfast bar and seating area allows for a more communal space for the family, it’s very much the place where everyone catches up on the events of the day. The clients are delighted with the improved storage, which includes pull-outs and a clever Le Mans corner solution. The boiler and exposed fuse board on the wall were discreetly hidden away by the special units which were designed to fit around them.
