The Brief
The clients’ previous kitchen was very small and the project involved extending the property to accommodate a larger room for the new kitchen diner and making the old kitchen into a utility area. They chose the affordable Milbourne Stone range for the cabinetry, with the look and feel of painted timber, it created just the ambience they were looking for. Key elements of the brief included timber worktops, a corner walk-in larder with wine storage and, most importantly, an island to create a much-needed preparation area. eech surfacing.
Designer's Tips
Including a table in the scheme was an afterthought from the clients. However, the designer responded with a great design that perfectly complements the kitchen, featuring matching rustic beech surfacing.
