The Brief
An extension to their home allowed the clients to create the perfect-sized kitchen for their lifestyle. The new design accommodates multiple working areas, including an island that is perfect for baking. Choosing the Milbourne range for its timeless Shaker design they mixed stone and alabaster-painted cabinetry for a subtle contrast. The timber worktops add a lovely warm natural feel to the design.

Keen to have a cleThe pitched ceiling incorporates roof lights to flood the room with natural light and this is enhanced with the statement pendants that are positioned about the island. The peninsular creates a very sociable aspect to the design and distinguishes the kitchen area from the living space.an-lined aesthetic, the clients wanted to keep their worksurfaces uncluttered so the designer recommended a range of hidden storage solutions that maximise every inch of space.
