The Brief

The clients originally had a small kitchen which they really wanted to extend to create a more practical and sociable space. They knocked the wall through between the dining room and existing kitchen and added a further extension to the rear across both rooms.  This delivered a spacious interior and the clients chose the Fitzroy Painted Shaker range, in a stone finish, which created the elegant yet homely look they desired. pieces.

Designer's Tips

As the kitchen is the centrepiece of the home, where the family spend precious time together, it was important that there was sufficient storage to keep the worktops clutter free and the ambience inviting.  With a clever Le Mans corner system, larders and deep pan drawers there are plenty of options for keeping provisions, pots, pans and crockery in order and out of sight. Decorative storage has not been overlooked, with some beautiful glazed cabinets to display chosen pieces.
