Restful tones of beige and biscuit were chosen for the colour scheme of this kitchen. New neutrals that have an air of sophistication about them but are equally easy to live with. Modern lime green stools add a touch of fun and character to the design. Although the kitchen is not especially wide the island does not crowd the room, with curved cabinetry enhancing the sense of spaciousness.
The island is very much the focal point of the design both from a practical perspective and also as the social hub of the kitchen. This focus is cleverly highlighted by the plinth lighting around the base of the island and also under the worktop edge.
