Extending their property, to increase the size of their kitchen, enabled the clients to create an open-plan scheme to include an informal dining area. The combination of high-gloss white and graphite handleless Remo cabinetry delivers a striking and streamlined look, enhanced with the complementary black splashback and sleek appliances. Practicality has not been overlooked with the mix of white-quartz worktops, Quooker boiling tap and a handy pop-up electrical socket.
The large island is the focal point of the kitchen, not only providing generous worktop space but being the hub for informal dining and socialising. The monochrome palette is not only clean and crisp has a timeless air so will not date. Being as this is a kitchen for living it was important to keep the vista streamlined, so the designer recommended plenty of hidden storage, including two Le Mans corner systems, a pull-out larder and deep pan drawers.
