The clients, a young professional couple,, were keen to inject plenty of interest and contemporary appeal in to their new kitchen, to replace their rather dated u-shaped one they'd moved in with. A minimal design, yet very practical, was the order of the day. They opted for the sleek Remo cabinetry in a mix of cashmere and charcoal. Slim wood-effect laminate worktops and splashbacks add warmth. A great mix of storage, including pan drawers, mid-height cabinets and a Le Mans corner solution ensures the visual aesthetic is uncluttered.
The designer played around with levels, which instantly adds a tailored look to the design. Under-cabinet task lighting is perfect for working, whilst the pendant lighting, over the breakfast bar, creates a statement and adds a sociable feel.
