The Brief

Our client’s existing kitchen was dark grey in colour which made the room look cramped, so they decided to create more space by knocking down a wall which divided the kitchen and dining room. The building work achieved a larger and greater open living space which gave enough room to incorporate a kitchen island for family and friends to gather.

An ultra-modern and minimalistic look with lots of light was desired, so our clients choose Remo Gloss doors in White to complement Silestone worktops in Aluminio Nube.

Designer's Tips

To achieve a spacious and modern look, a considered mix of mood lighting was used with ceiling spotlights, LED lighting under the wall units, plinth lighting and three pendant lights above the kitchen island.

A waste bin unit was placed to the left to the sink to create an easy and accessible way for recycling and disposing of food waste.
