The Brief

The clients own a riverside apartment and were looking for a modern ‘warehouse’ feel for their new kitchen.  The room doesn’t have a large footprint so to enhance the sense of space the designer recommended the Remo Gloss White cabinetry, which has a seamless aesthetic and great reflective qualities.  They opted for real bricks for the wall splashback area, to give the scheme the desired industrial edge.

Designer's Tips

Funky colour-changing mood lighting adds to the contemporary appeal of this design and plays great tricks with the feel and ambience of the room.  To maximise every inch of storage the designer used the maximum height to the ceiling and still managed to include cooking appliances and build in a dishwasher and washing machine into the layout.
