The Brief

This couple had inherited a lovely kitchen when they moved into their new home, however, they felt that it did not represent their personality and wanted a modern kitchen which had plenty of storage and somewhere to show off their dining ware collection.

The kitchen was designed using Remo cashmere gloss and Elm to create a contrast and feature. The tall oven housings had Elm decor sides and gloss Remo cashmere doors. The feature breakfast bar had the same colour theme, but with curved doors!

Drainer grooves were fabricated into the worktop to allow drainage for those delicate items that don’t make it to the Neff dishwasher. The other integrated appliances included a Bosch fridge and plinth heater

Designer's Tips

Useful clever storage solutions were used to allow access to the usually ‘tight’ spots in a kitchen. You can see the LeMans used in the corner which made it easy when accessing the space.

To make a lovely area to show off the clients dining ware, two glass cabinets were fitted with installed down lights to show off their contents.

To add ambiance and a modern feel to the kitchen, recessed ceiling lights, LED under cabinet lighting, plinth and worktop lighting were installed into the kitchen.
