The Brief

Set in a period-terraced house in Dublin, this property belongs to a young and newly-married couple who were renovating their home.  The couple were keen to achieve an upcycled, shabby-chic look and wanted to embrace some features of their existing kitchen.

They chose a mix of Porter Charcoal and Remo Elm furniture to complement the scheme.

Designer's Tips

To add a further design statement, the clients chose striking monochrome floor tiles  with Silestone lyra and Sensa black beauty worktops to complement the look.

To achieve their desired upcycle/shabby chic look, some of the original features were kept such as the reclaimed latch handles and exposed original brick walls.
