With an outdated kitchen, and poor lighting, the clients felt the design was in need of a significant remodel. The area originally had a large party wall opening onto an existing conservatory which the clients thought could be better utilized. The customers chose Remo cashmere gloss and elm for a subtle combination to go with their new porcelain floor. A pale white quartz top also added to the look.
All the appliances are built in and there is a generous amount of cabinet and drawer storage. The feature island, with rounded corners, has been designed to double up as a family seating area. The positioning of the island allows the customers to easily move around to prep food, put in the oven and then serve food. A wine cooler is incorporated in the island for ease of access into the new conservatory space when entertaining.
