The clients were looking for something modern and fresh that had family appeal. The aga was a central feature but the design also included a second cooker for the Summer when the aga is turned off. A small seating area for their 3 children as integral to the design brief.
Keeping all but one wall free of wall units opened up the room to create a flow through to the main dining area. Splashes of rich deep red on the glass splashback and upstands adds warmth and creates a dramatic contrast with the white units.
