The Brief

The clients wanted a clean and fresh new look in their kitchen and to create this they opted for the matt Porcelain Porter handleless doors with an aluminium trim, to enhance the streamlined aesthetic. This continues through the Corian solid-surface worktops.  Function, in terms of plenty of storage, to avoid cluttered worktops and bulging cupboards, was just as important as the visual appeal.  Behind the doors is where the real magic happened as each unit now has a place for everything and everything has its own place!

Designer's Tips

Cleverly-used lighting was used to accentuate the corner base unit, plinths and the tiled floors, with under-cabinet lighting adding atmosphere and practicality to the scheme. Tall larder units were designed with internal baskets in one and a tandem pull-out solution in the other creating maximum storage capacity. Two deep drawers were placed directly under the Neff Pyrolytic slide and hide, combination oven and warming drawer, which made access to the appliances easy and gave plenty of space to store plates, bowls and pans.
