This new kitchen has the luxury of space as the previous dining room, utility room and kitchen have been knocked through into an openplan room. A further benefit is the kitchen leads through vast glass doors to the conservatory so lots of natural light floods into the room. There’s a lovely flow to the design through the use of curved cabinetry and shaped worksurfaces.
In an openplan room it’s important to have a cohesive feel so that the various zones have a common link. In this space the designer has cleverly used the Izari wenge range as a feature to trim the gloss beige cabinetry and the dark brown tone is echoed in the chocolate leather stools right through to the sofa in the living space. Similarly keeping the flooring the same throughout unites the areas.
