The clients felt their previous kitchen was really dated, and they wanted the new layout to have a fresher look and also more sociable focus. In terms of the style and colour scheme they were keen to introduce a contrasting colour palette that would add visual appeal but also be timeless. They love the mix of charcoal and partridge grey in the Milton Painted range as it achieves exactly the ambience they wanted to create. The kitchen is rich in storage and includes a great pull-out larder.
The island is multifunctional, with plenty of storage, but also is a great focal point with the open shelving creating a feature display area. This is echoed on the wall to the side of the window and also on the mantle above the Aga. The bespoke rustic oak table is perfect for friends and family gathering where everyone congregates. It’s also a flexible arrangement so the table can be moved to facilitate another seating position if required.
