This family home has been extended to create a large kitchen-dining space and conservatory. On a practical level the clients were keen to improve and maximise storage and have more worktop space, as well as a dedicated area for baking. They chose the Milton in-frame range, in a stone painted finish, for its timeless simplicity. The pantry was designed specifically to house baking equipment allowing blenders and bread making machines to be used without having to move them. Bi-fold doors, curved units with side access and 150 pullouts all contribute to the wealth of easy-use storage.
A breakfast bar/seating area is integrated into the kitchen and neatly links through to the new open-plan dining space. A book shelf is included under the breakfast bar for additional practical storage. Other bespoke storage solutions include a wine rack and handy storage for the champagne ice bucket about above the fridge. The clients are delighted with the layout of the cooking and preparation space, which has increased so more than one person can now comfortably use the kitchen, which is now perfectly designed to be both inviting and to suit the needs of a growing family.
