The clients decided to improve rather than move and updating the kitchen was key to their refurbishment plans. Longevity was a major requirement of the brief, creating a kitchen that would look just as good in years to come, so a timeless design and colour palette was the basis of the design. The classic Milton in-frame range suited the clients’ taste and they opted for a mix of colours, Little Green’s Rubine’s Ashes for the base cabinets and chalk white for the wall units.
The designer recommended a mix of worktops, Silestone quartz for the main preparation area and a prime oak timber for the peninsular. This not only creates distinctive zones in the scheme but also adds visual interest.
