This kitchen was in desperation of a full make over, requiring some major restructuring to achieve the new look. The original kitchen was outdated, cluttered and cramped so the walls came down to create an open-plan kitchen-living space. Opting for the simply-styled Milton painted cabinetry, the clients were keen to achieve a classic feel to their new kitchen.
To inject warmth and a sense of nature, the designer suggested walnut timber worksurfaces, which not only contrast beautifully with the alabaster cabinetry but add a luxurious feel to the scheme too. This is a fabulous before & after scenario and shows the versatility of the retailer who took on the whole project, from ripping out the original kitchen, rewiring and replastering the kitchen and creating an island to accommodate lost storage and worktop space from removing the dividing wall.
