The clients, a retired couple, were looking to have something a bit ‘different’ in terms of design for their new kitchen with a clear distinction between the working area and the more formal dining space. The room benefits from lots of natural light flooding through the tall windows and French doors and they deliberately kept the colour scheme fresh to maximise this. The warm oak and painted sage cabinetry complement each other beautifully, creating an elegant yet cosy look.
This kitchen is rich in individual design touches, such as the internal curved wall cabinetry, plate rack and the sweeping peninsular, which is as practical as it is beautiful. It’s truly a space for living, with the striking stove ensuring it will be warm and welcoming all year round.
