The Brief

Country inspired for modern living this Milbourne Sage kitchen is perfectly at home in this sympathetically renovated barn conversion.   The large room allowed space for both an island and dining table so the family can get together at all times of the day.  With the look and feel of a painted timber door, Milbourne was an affordable alternative and teams beautifully with the emerald pearl granite worktops.

Designer's Tips

Rather than fill the walls with cabinetry, create a bespoke feel to the kitchen by including open shelving, tongue and groove features and decorative units with plate racks. Other design touches that make this kitchen so special are the glazed dresser cabinets, contrasting timber wine racks on the island and the iron handles.
