The clients were originally thinking about a Broadoak Painted Sage kitchen but were delighted to discover the more affordable Milbourne Sage range, which both looks and feels like a painted timber door but is in fact a man-made material. This enabled them to free up some of their budget for other items such as the pull-out larders either side of the fridge/freezer which have improved the storage in the kitchen. The white worktops add a fresh feel to the interior scheme.
To make the most of an otherwise awkward corner the designer suggested incorporating a Le Mans storage solutions. The clients have a love of colour but kept the kitchen doors in a light neutral shade and painted the walls in a vivid raspberry tone, which can be easily updated if their tastes change.
