The crisp simplicity of the Milbourne Chalk range really appealed to the clients and suited their Victorian property perfectly whilst achieving the budget. Part of a major refurbishment, the new kitchen extension was required to both update the property and accommodate the growing family, including two-year-old twins. The clients wanted a timeless yet modern design, to increase the amount of storage and include a new American fridge-freezer and their existing range cooker.
Using larder units around the fridge-freezer and taller height wall cabinets maximises storage potential without affecting the open-plan feel of the extension. The breakfast bar peninsular overlooks the dining area and garden, effectively defining the space whilst being the perfect perch for a coffee with friends or an informal eating space. The light quartz worktop is both beautiful and practical and will stand up to the daily challenges of modern family life.
