The Brief

The clients, a professional couple, wanted a light and airy kitchen in their new-build property. They are not lovers of islands so chose a peninsular unit to differentiate the kitchen from the living area, whilst still achieving a cohesive feel to the open-plan layout.  The Milbourne Alabaster range was favoured for its simple clean lines and light-toned finish.

Designer's Tips

The worktops in the kitchen are a stunning black granite with the peninsular surfaced in a contrasting timber which injects warmth to the scheme.  The pendant lights add pops of colour and illuminate the breakfast bar area.
