A new single-storey extension created a much-needed sociable space for this family who love to entertain. Key to the new layout was having as much storage and worksurface as possible with some breakfast seating. The Lyndon Oak kitchen creates the homely-feel they wanted in their new kitchen and co-ordinates beautifully with the more formal oak dining table.
The designer suggested wide pan drawers which the clients love and to break up the runs of cabinets there are some feature glass display areas which add decorative interest to the scheme. The hob is positioned on the breakfast bar so that when spending time with the family or entertaining the clients wouldn’t be facing away from their children or guests but would be looking into the room.
