The client wanted to update her kitchen with a design that had a fresh feel but would be sympathetic to the architecture of her cosy and quirky cottage. Langham Painted cabinetry achieves a simple styling with touches of personality to add character to the scheme. Contrasting black worktops co-ordinate beautifully with the range cooker and the handy peninsular is proving to be the social point of the kitchen.
When working in an older property the design must allow for little quirks, such as sloping ceilings. In this layout the designer suggested some individual features, such as the open shelving above the eye-level microwave and the contrasting timber wine rack.
