'Compact ' best describes this kitchen but what it lacks in space it makes up in its functionality and looks. The owner lives in a small cottage and as the kitchen was tiny she was looking to improve and maximise storage whilst having a country feel to the design. She opted for the fresh tone of Langham Sage which perfectly complements the cottage architecture. To avoid the kitchen feeling hemmed in there is an open doorway through to the living space.
The room is very small and does not benefit from a great deal of natural light so the designer recommended LED lighting under the wall cabinets to brighten up the kitchen and also make it easier for food preparation. Although the kitchen is compact the client is most impressed with the amount of storage that is now included and says there is a place for everything.
