The Brief

Set in a rural stud farm property, the clients wanted their new kitchen to be the nucleus for not only the family but stable hands and visitors too. Langham painted cabinetry, teamed with sapphire brown granite worksurfaces, seemed the perfect combination for their farmhouse kitchen, keeping the living space light but with the most practical of contrasting worksurfaces.  They are delighted with the full wall dresser which also offers plenty of storage at the same time.

Designer's Tips

In a busy working/family kitchen a natural stone floor is hard-wearing and practical and adds a natural feel to the design. The small curved peninsular is a lovely piece of furniture that is a handy place for the business telephone and doubles up as a place to store business paperwork. The appliances were already placed to the best advantage for this busy workspace so a Neff Slide away single oven, a combination microwave, & extra wide induction hob were ideal replacements.
