The Brief

This kitchen was to take pride of place in a stunning new luxury home and the clients were looking for a statement design. It was soon clear that a calming colour was required for the kitchen cabinetry, to work with the clients’ colour scheme for the open-plan dining room and orangery. High on the wish list was a large hob, downdraft extractor, eye-level ovens and occasional seating. They chose the Inzo range for its clean contemporary appeal, in a subtle porcelain matt finish. Lighting plays a key role in the scheme with under-cabinet led spot lights and strip-colour changing plinth lights to change the ambience at the flick of a switch.

Designer's Tips

The quartz worktops add definition and contrast and enhance the overall monochrome palette.  The deep red glass splashback works well as an accent colour adding a hint of drama. The curved layout fills the space perfectly, delivering the desired wow factor as well as a truly ergonomic working space – this certainly ticks all boxes in the brief. Storage solutions such as internal curved drawer, pull out bin, under counter swing out larders help maximise the storage efficiency.
