The Brief

The customer wanted a cosy but spacious area with dedicated zones for formal dining, breakfast bar seating for casual dining plus an area for comfy chairs and relaxing. They were looking to improve on the space in several ways, as well as making it more inviting with some decorative elements such as open shelving and a feature mantle above the range cooker, they also wanted to enhance the space to be more practical and easy to use. The Fitzroy Shaker, in a natural stone finish, perfectly suits the interior and creates a classic scheme that will stand the test of time.

Designer's Tips

The clients gave a lot of consideration to their choice of worktops and decided to invest in Nero Assoluto granite surfaces to complete the look of the kitchen.  As the customer wanted to have a truly usable and liveable space, careful thought was given to areas where laptops and other devices could be charged.  A dedicated area was designed in the space to accommodate this.
