Previously a spare room in the annex of the main house, the original kitchen was at the other end of the house and was a dark room which had been added to over the year. The clients wanted a design to complement their Selborne Stone house, with a scheme that would be the hub of the home. They chose the rustic-styled Croft Oak, which instantly creates a feeling of cosiness and warmth in the room.
The kitchen is very much the social hub of the clients’ home so an island was an essential part of the design, which is a perfect cooking area but also ideal for friends and family to gather around. The beautiful bar-light pendant hanging from the ceiling beam is a central feature of the interior.
