The clients wanted a country-styled kitchen for their listed property, to enhance the architectural features of their home. They wished to retain the traditional look but incorporating modern appliances. It is a large family room with an Aga at its heart and the Cornell cabinetry, in an ivory painted finish, teamed with cream Silestone quartz worktops, achieves the desired look.
To add character, the designer cleverly introduced design features to the scheme, including curved cabinets at the base and curved illuminated glazed cabinets on the wall. Adding the light worktop, of a similar shade to the cabinetry, resulted in a beautiful kitchen that doesn't demand all the attention. All the other original features in the home are still speaking volumes.
