Kitchen style used
The clients loved the light tones of the painted Broadoak Alabaster and as the room benefited from lots of natural light they chose to team the furniture with dark granite worktops for maximum contrast. Improving storage was an important element of the brief and they are delighted with the mix of options, from different sizes and shaped drawers, curved and glazed cabinetry plus internally Le mans corner and base unit pull-outs to keep the kitchen organised.
When an island is intended to be used as the main food preparation area it is not practical to walk to and from the main sink. Therefore having a separate small sink to wash vegatables in can be very handy. With a large kitchen it is important to introduce a mix of features to prevent a monotonous run of cupboards. Curved units, glass dressers and granite shelves are just some ideas that add to the success of this design.
