The Brief

The clients moved from a large house to a newly-built bungalow so had the luxury of a blank canvas for their new design.  They chose the Broadoak Shaker doors, for a timeless look, and opted for the stone painted finish for its modern and space-enhancing quality. The colour palette is understated, yet elegant, with the beautiful tones of the Kashmir white granite complementing the scheme perfectly. Careful use of metallics, from the silver handles through to stainless steel elements on the stools and appliances, help to create a shimmering effect as the surfaces catch the light.

Designer's Tips

The clients wanted their kitchen to be the room for all occasions and the well-planned design has certainly achieved this.  The island has ample space for friends and family to congregate, and on a practical level there’s not only a generous amount of storage but plenty of worktop space for prepping too. The perfect fusion of form and function.
