The Brief

Faced with an awkward-shaped room the clients wanted to create distinct zones in their new kitchen.  Key to the design was plenty of worksurfaces for preparation and they opted for a stunning granite to really make a statement.  They chose the simply-styled Broadoak Shaker doors for the furniture as this blends seamlessly through to the living and dining area.

Designer's Tips

To add interest to the design a mix of charcoal and chalk is used in the main kitchen area, then the same door style is in the living space but in a natural oak for a softer look and to co-ordinate with the dining furniture.  A free-standing dresser adds a bespoke element to the design.
