The Brief

The client’s are a middle-aged couple who entertain a lot and wanted their new kitchen to be more welcoming and visually appealing then their previous kitchen.   The new design is a Shaker Broadoak, in the soft toned China Blue, which immediately creates a pleasant ambience. The working space is much improved and features a useful peninsular, which is perfect for guests to chat and socialise.

Designer's Tips

Improved storage was important and the new design has maximised cupboard space ensuring there is a home for everything.  Some open shelving breaks up the runs of units and creates a handy spot for recipe books. To inject contrast to the scheme the darker Emerald Pearl granite was chosen, with chrome handles adding a modern edge to the design.
