The Brief

The clients, a professional couple who enjoy entertaining, wanted to update their existing kitchen which was both cramped and poorly organised. A complete redesign of the layout was the order of the day, together with improvements in functionality with the confines of the their existing kitchen and utility rooms being crucial to the new scheme.  The Broadoak Shaker range was chosen for its clean and simple lines and painted in an elegant mix of partridge grey and charcoal. A vivid red splashback adds a dash of colour and warmth to the scheme.

Designer's Tips

Carrying the units through to the utility room not only enhances the flow of the design but creates a sense of more space.  The designer suggested incorporating curved doors and these work to great visual effect, softening the approach form the dining area into the kitchen.
