The Brief

The clients, a working couple, wanted to inject a modern feel to their kitchen whilst keeping the overall look timeless.  The classic Broadoak Shaker door has a simple design so will not date and this is given a contemporary edge with the feature LED plinth lighting which create a stunning effect.  Corian worksurfaces and splashback on the sink run contrast beautifully with the quartz stone and timber on the island.

Designer's Tips

The island is deliberately large as the clients use this as a hub for cooking and it’s also the perfect place for entertaining.  The cabinets are in a sophisticated colour mix and combined with the trio of tall decorative display cabinets add a touch of personality to the scheme.
