The clients, parents of a young family, were looking to totally refurbish their kitchen and utility area to create an interior which would suit their lifestyle as well as stand the test of time. Shaker-style cabinetry in a palette of partridge grey and chalk, was a great choice, being so timeless in design. Crisp organic white quartz worktops complement the scheme as well as providing an entirely practical surface.
The choice of worktops is really well considered in this project, with quartz for the main working zones and then a contrasting prime oak for the higher level of the peninsular. The timber adds warmth both visually and to the touch. A free-standing piece of furniture in the dining area has been painted in a slate finish to tie in with the kitchen palette with the vivid red stools adding some personality to the scheme.
