The Brief

This kitchen is an awkward shaped room and as soon as the clients saw a curved oak kitchen display in the showroom they knew they wanted to incorporate curves in their new design.  They chose Broadoak for its timeless Shaker appeal and included a mix of internal and external curved cabinetry to add flow to the kitchen layout. The worktops are Assoluto black granite which contrast beautifully with the cream flooring and walls.

Designer's Tips

Due to the shape of the kitchen there was limited worksurface space.  The island creates lots of additional surfacing and includes a mix of granite and a feature oak area.  The island is multifunctional and includes plenty of storage, a handy pull-out power socket and room to sit.  A curved corner pantry near the fridge freezer creates additional bespoke storage.
