The Brief

The clients wanted to create a large, double aspect room and introduce more light and space than in their previous kitchen. With a large family, and busy social life, it was important that the new design would be more accommodating for their lifestyle. The Broadoak Shaker range, in a pale alabaster painted finish, suits the room beautifully. The feel of the space was to be arm and homely, incorporating a must-have wood-burning stove.

Designer's Tips

Elegant black granite worktops and a statement range cooker add contrast to the scheme.  The island worktop is an oak block timber, which complements the colours of the flooring, whilst adding a natural warmth to the interior.  Attention to detail is evident throughout the design, with beautiful finishing touches such as the mirrored backs to the glazed cabinets.
