The brief

The clients wanted to create a multifunctional living room to suit their busy family life. A wall was removed to open up the dining and play rooms and with the luxury of space they opted for a very modern and curvy design with a bold colour choice. The result is a funky yet practical kitchen with black and ivory glossy doors contrasted with red worksurfaces as a strong accent colour.

Designer's tips

For fans of lighting LED blue plinth lights, under counter lights and lighting across the top of the wall cabinets will add drama further drama to the scheme.
